RigExpert | Amateur Radio Station Research

Your station at a glance

We are learning how amateur radio stations are set up, operated and maintained. Your experience will help RigExpert improve equipment and support, and inform product planning. We are interested both in what works well and in anything that makes operating more difficult.

Participation is voluntary. You may skip any equipment or experience question, choose “Not sure” or “Prefer not to answer”, or stop at any time. Approximate answers are welcome. You do not need to look up specifications or make measurements.

Please do not provide exact addresses, coordinates, passwords, network addresses or serial numbers.

When you use a personal invitation link, we link your response to that invitation and the email address it was sent to. We use your callsign to help connect your answers. Your responses are confidential, but not anonymous.

Taking part does not sign you up for further research invitations or product emails.

Your responses will be reviewed by the RigExpert project lead and authorised project personnel, including an external analyst. We will not publish your callsign, email address or identifiable station details without a separate agreement.
